About the Program

This session will cover the overall trend in fundraising auctions/galas, 7 keys to a successful Fund-a-Need, as well as explore two proven tactics for engaging new/younger donors at your event. Specifically, participants will learn:

1.How to determine which fundraising format is best for the culture of your org/event

2. How to craft an emotionally compelling and financially successful fund-a-need

3. The keys to conducting a fund-a-need only event

4. The hottest and easiest to implement trend in fundraising today

5. How to use buy-in lots to target new donors

About the Presenter

Greg Quiroga is a San Francisco-based fundraising auctioneer, consultant and educator. Greg helps non-profit organizations plan and implement successful fundraising auctions, and is always focused on current trends that impact the non-profit industry. Greg’s current obsession is identifying implementable fundraising gala strategies and tactics to engage and retain younger donors.

Greg has experience founding and building a successful non-profit organization. He is also an avid story teller, and one of his stories has been featured on NPR’s “The Moth Radio Hour.” Greg regularly shares his insights about fundraising in a story-telling format on his podcast, Black Tie and Tales (www.blacktieandtales.com).
